Notice of Award

The Government of Guyana in collaboration the Government of Cuba is offering a limited number of scholarships in Cuba at the Undergraduate level for the 2025/2026 academic year.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for consideration in the following fields of study:

Undergraduate:

• Human Medicine (MD.)
• Health Technologies: Clinical Analysis & Transfusion Medicine (BSc.)
• Health Technologies: Cyto-Histopathology (BSc.)
• Health Technologies: Medical Biophysics (BSc.)
• Health Technologies: Nutrition & Dietetics (BSc.)
• Health Technologies: Speech Therapy (BSc.)
• Health Technologies: Pharmaceutical Services (BSc.)
• Technician in Health: Anesthesia (BSc.)

Key Eligibility Requirements for Applicants:

• Applicants must be 25 years or younger and a holder of a valid Guyana Passport
• A minimum of five (5) subjects at the Caribbean Secondary Examination Council (CSEC) level inclusive of English Language, Mathematics, and any two (2) Science subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Human & Social Biology) with Grades I or II.
