The Government of Guyana in collaboration the Government of Cuba is offering a limited number of scholarships in Cuba at the Postgraduate level for the 2025/2026 academic year.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for consideration in the following fields of study:

Fields of Study

Key Requirements

  • Anesthesiology & Resuscitation (MSc.)
  • Clinical Genetics (MSc.)
  • Coloproctology (MSc.)


  • Be a graduate from the Latin American School of Medicine (ELAM) in Cuba and must be fluent in Spanish with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0.


Closing date for submission of applications is April 27, 2025
