Notice of Award
The Government of Guyana in collaboration with the Government of Japan is offering a limited number of scholarships to pursue studies at the Master’s Level for the 2027/2028 academic year under the MEXT Scholarship Programme, Japan.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for consideration in the following fields of study for the Master’s Degree:
- Human Resource Management
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Power Engineering
- Medicine
- Dentistry
Key Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants must be 35 years or under at the time of application.
- Applicants must be holders of a valid Guyana passport.
- Applicants must have obtained a relevant Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0.
Closing date for the submission of application is May 24, 2026.
